Purpose:
1. Metallurgical industry:
Used for making adhesive for fire-resistant material and furnace arm, and also the raw material of smelting metal magnesium.
2. Chemical industry:
Mainly used for making all kinds of magnesium salt, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, firecracker fixing agentand also the raw material of antifreeze.
3. Building materials:
Mixed with MgO to produce magnesia cement which is very hard and corrosion resistant, it is used for making scagliola, magnesite tile, floorboard, ceiling, decorative board, fireproof board, greenhouse bracket.Used for antifreeze in the process of construction in winter.
4. Machinery Industry:
MgO is a very good material to make machine packages, triangular prism and furniture in the daily life.
5. Food industry:
Used for protein coagulant. Tofu made by brine (food grade magnesium chloride solution) is more delicious than by gypsum. It also can be used for particular food additives.
6. Transportation industry:
Used for snow-melt agent which is much faster for ice melting, and more importantly it is less corrosive to vehicles.
7. Medicine:
Dry Brine which is made by magnesium chloride can be used for medicine.
8. Agriculture:
Used for magnesium fertilizer, potassic-magnesian fertilizer and cotton defoliating agent.
